Recent Events

October 28-30, 2011   Eight women who care for a spouse or partner with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) shared their experiences over meals, enjoying an unseasonably snowy Saturday weekend while moving from massages, to yoga, to meditation, uninterupted sleep, and time alone.  Home care for loved ones was covered, when needed, by the ALS Association of Philadelphia's Abrams Home Care program. Our guests came from as far as Harrisburg and Lehigh County, as well as the Philadelphia area.

June 10-12, 2011  Nancy's House hosted a respite session that was not disease specific. Several of the guests were caring for a spouse with dementia.
